Gas Hydrodynamic Researches

A rich printed matter prepared by Ukhta Complex Metrological Expedition (UCME) - GFUP "Ukhtaneftegazgeologija" - is used in conducting hydrodynamic researches of wells (HDRW.) Methods of researches and processing HDRW correspond a Guiding Instruction 153-39.0-109-01.

1. Hydrodynamic Well Testing

Stationary scraper winches (helicopter versions, compact light-weighted constructions) as well as winches installed on URAL, GAZ and UAZ trucks are used in execution of HDRW.

In researches of wells with absence of a flowability packer and testing facilities are often used with the aim of pressure-build-up curve (PBUC) recording and creation of conditions for correct deep oil sampling. Obtained fluid level build-up curves (FLBC) are processed by a differatial method. For correct comparison of several FLBC the latter are refered to equal values of current depressions. All factors affecting on changes in the rate of FLBC elevation (variation of a well cross-section, unplaned buffer or annular space shut-offs during inflow position etc,.) are also taken into account.

Having the rich printed matter as well as experienced data interpreters, the enterprise obtains its own engineering programs for processing of HDRW and casing formation test (CFT) data...

2. Gas & Hydrodynamic Well Testing

The diaphragm critical flow tester (DCFT) is used for a gas flow rate measurement. It is equipped with electronic manometers and thermometers.

The data processing is done in accordance with the "Instructions on Complex Researches of Gas and Gas Condensate Formations and Wells" edited by G. A. Zotov, Z. S. Aliev. Moscow, "Nedra", 1980, p. 301.
